Walmart Inc. has to sell kidneys to afford a giant 4K TV in the living room. As TV prices continue to drop, that’s no longer the case. for example? Vizio has just released a new 86-inch 4K smart TV, priced at only $999.

The first thing worth mentioning about the latest addition to Vizio’s 4K TV lineup is its size. The second largest model is 75 inches, which is large enough to fully occupy most spaces. It’s like having a Times Square billboard in your living room. That’s not a bad thing, especially for home theater enthusiasts.

We don’t know yet what this set will look like in action, but it does offer a ton of features. Vizio says it “has the same powerful picture quality as its predecessor” thanks to Dolby Vision HDR and HDR10+. The company also promises that the TV will be able to run games at 120 fps once it switches to 1080p. Hope this product does. Other features include dual-band Wi-Fi 6 connectivity and DTS:X audio.

Walmart agreed, but the deal still needed regulatory approval. The 86-inch 4K TV will be officially released on April 29 at physical and digital retailers.
