Premium subscribers in Canada, Ireland and New Zealand can listen to 15 hours of audiobooks for free each month. This benefit is available to subscribers in the US, UK and Australia.
The premium audiobook catalog now includes more than 250,000 titles. This is a significant increase from the 200,000 audiobooks in the library as of the end of 2023. So when you have access to millions of variations of songs and podcasts on Spotify, you’ll have a ton of books to choose from.
Users who have reached the 15-hour limit can add more audiobook listening time by recharging for 10 hours. In new markets, additional listening time will cost $14.99 CAD, €12.99 or NZ$19.99 per person. .
Spotify has been available in the United States since last month. For the same 15 hours of audiobook listening, the price is $10, which is $1 cheaper per month than Spotify Premium. Depending on the length of the books you listen to, though, this plan may be a better value than Audible, which gives you credit for one audiobook per month for $15. In other words, unused audiobook listening time on Spotify will not carry over to the next month.
