Season 2 is all about memory being a monster and how memories and guilt can follow you. When we meet Claudia and Louis in season two, they’re dealing with the psychological and literal repercussions of what they’ve done together. With Louis, you definitely sensed some hesitation – he didn’t really get it done and he backed off at the last minute because he loved the monster so much. This creates tension between the two of them, Louis and Claudia, as they don’t all agree, so the two are now in unfamiliar territory together creating a lot of drama.
There are things that I can’t talk about during this season, but they were really challenging and really shocking for me, and I learned a lot about Louis and myself. Another big theme of the show is endurance and resilience, and because of what Louis has been through this season, I’ve definitely learned that my own mind is more resilient than I thought. It’s stronger. I can handle more craziness than I thought possible. It was really fulfilling, challenging, and fun.
