Instagram’s latest mindfulness feature targets teens. When young users scroll in Reels or DMs for more than 10 minutes, the app suggests they close the app and go to bed. Nightly boosts will automatically appear on teen accounts and cannot be turned off. Instagram didn’t specify whether the feature would be available to all teens or those under 18.

Apple Vision Pro won’t be able to access YouTube and Spotify apps at launch

according to Bloomberg, Google’s YouTube and Spotify currently don’t have any plans to develop apps for Apple’s Vision Pro. YouTube also won’t offer a download of its iPad app on the headphones. For these apps, including Netflix, users will have to view content through a web browser. In most cases, this means losing the ability to watch or listen to content offline.according to mike storyVision Pro’s app store may also lack Meta’s Instagram and Facebook. The company may be waiting to see whether it’s worth devoting resources to the $3,500 headphones — it will take time for the Apple Watch to generate its own library of apps.

The release of the Rabbit R1 left a lot of unanswered questions, and some of us were concerned that it would be a candidate for vaporware at this year’s CES. Now, Rabbit has revealed which LLM (large language model) will power the device’s interactions: Perplexity. Luckily, you don’t need to pay a subscription fee. The first 100,000 R1 buyers will receive one year of Perplexity Pro for free. This premium service adds file upload support with a daily quota of over 300 complex queries. Perplexity is a San Francisco-based startup funded by NVIDIA and Jeff Bezos.
