By now you’ve had enough time to completely blast your friends with Spotify Wrapped and your audio streaming personality, but there’s a lot more listening material to come from.
One year after Spotify launched the “Playlist in a Bottle” feature on January 5, 2023, it has relaunched the feature. This truly long-lasting tool allows you to create a little time capsule of the music you’re listening to right now, ready to be viewed exactly 12 months from now.
Monzo’s version of Spotify Wrapped shows us who we really are
The feature asks you for three song-inspired prompts, resulting in your unique Bottle playlist, which Spotify then locks away for a year. If you made a playlist last year, you can claim it now, if not, you can make a playlist for next year, but it will only be available in 2025.
How to Make Your Spotify a “Playlist in a Bottle”

Step 3: Answer Spotify’s questions and select your song.
These range from “a song you would play for aliens if they visited Earth” to “a song you need to hear live in 2024” to “a song you would take to a deserted island” . You can randomize it or start typing your answer as a song title and Spotify will populate the search results. Press the + button to lock it and click Next.

If you make a Bottle playlist, Spotify will email you when it’s ready in 2025.
Until then, there are many more websites that can provide insight into your Spotify listening data.
