    OpenAI has reportedly suspended the developer behind Dean.Bot, a ChatGPT-powered bot designed to impersonate Democratic presidential candidate Dean Phillips to help support his campaign. . The chatbot was created by artificial intelligence startup Delphi to support Phillips’ super PAC We Deserve Better.

    Dean.Bot doesn’t go all out to pretend to be Phillips himself. Before interacting with Dean.Bot, website visitors will see a disclaimer describing the nature of the chatbot. Nonetheless, this type of use directly violates OpenAI’s policies.A company spokesperson confirmed the developer’s suspension in a statement to the government postal.
