We’d be remiss if we didn’t mention the role of search engines and G2’s efforts in curating valuable information to stand out in search results. As we witness the rise of self-service buyers and the consumerization of B2B purchasing, a strategy of “right time and right place” becomes crucial.
Not only do people visit G2 to search for software, but when they search for software vendors and categories, their G2 profiles also appear in search results. For example, when Google searches for “AI software,” G2’s page is the first natural result that appears.
At the end of the day, trustworthy reviews and a solid market position are crucial for software companies. G2’s role is to bridge the gap between these companies and truly interested buyers. Through our data and solutions, we are committed to creating the best B2B buyer experience and helping suppliers build trustworthy connections with market buyers.
Our product development roadmap priorities
In terms of our product roadmap, we are using artificial intelligence to revolutionize the way buyers discover software – providing personalized recommendations and enhancing the user experience by providing value-added features such as collaboration tools and interactive presentations. In this process, we aim to amplify the voice of our customers by collecting real reviews, aided by artificial intelligence. We will support seller tools, support integration with gifting platforms, and share best practices for review generation.
Our priority for the year ahead remains delivering first-party low-pass buyer intent with simple and efficient integrations to use within your current workflows. To support this priority, we’re improving features like Track Your Prospects, stacking data, and connecting partners to deliver greater ROI.
