Final Fantasy 14 is finally coming to Xbox Series X/S on March 21st

Correct release date finally revealed On Xbox Series X/S. The MMO is currently in open beta on consoles and will officially launch on the system on March 21st. PlayStation and PC players have been enjoying final fantasy 14 The Xbox launch has been a long time coming, since 2013.

The Xbox Open Beta is only available to new Square Enix accounts. It includes everything available in the free trial (more on that later), and progress rolls over to the full game.

Microsoft is giving Game Pass Ultimate subscribers the option to pick up the starter version of the game for free from March 21 to April 19. The content of this version is also the same as the free trial version. You’ll get the base game and the first two expansion packs, Skyward and Stormblood.

However, both options are available. The free trial period ends when you reach level 70, but you can continue playing indefinitely. Other limitations include the amount of in-game currency you can carry and the inability to trade items with other players.

By choosing the Starter Edition, you can exceed the free trial’s tier cap and other restrictions, but you must start paying for the game’s subscription after 30 days (this is on top of a Game Pass Core or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription). If you don’t want to rush through the base game and first two expansions, it’s probably best to stick with the trial until you’ve completed those.

It’s worth keeping these quirks in mind as you prepare to set foot in Eorzea for the first time (or maybe you’re starting over after finishing the game) final fantasy 14 on another platform). Regardless, given its capabilities, it might be worth trying this game out with your friends and family if you haven’t done so already.
