The HP Specter x360 14 was updated at CES 2024 and I had the chance to try it out. Let me tell you—I can’t stop them.So much so that I actually considered throwing my MacBook Pro out the window sweet, sweet Typing experience in this area Irresistible HP notebook computers.
I think the keyboard on the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 is very nice to use, but that’s nothing compared to the keyboard on the Specter x360.
In addition to HP continuing to equip its laptops with addictive keyboards, the Specter x360 14 also has updated internals, including new Intel Core Ultra processors, and now has an artificial intelligence-focused component (known as the NPU).
Oh, did I mention the keyboard??

As I hinted at the beginning, the HP Specter x360 14 is packed with new upgrades, especially in the area of artificial intelligence.

So, what exactly is new in the next generation of HP’s favorite products? Let’s first take a look at how Intel Core Ultra processors, now equipped with neural processing units (NPUs) for running machine learning tasks, will benefit the Specter x360 with artificial intelligence:

The 14-inch OLED panel offers a variable refresh rate display, which means it can adjust the refresh rate based on the content you’re watching. For example, if you’re just watching static content, the update rate drops to 48Hz. But if you’re playing some light gaming, it can climb to 120Hz for a smoother experience.
HP also claims that the OLED screen has high resolution and deep blacks and is enhanced by IMAX, and this certification confirms that the Specter x360 14 meets high standards in terms of vividness, contrast, and clarity.

Other notable upgrades include a new 9MP webcam, up from 5MP. Plus, you should expect better performance—not just because of the new processor, but because of the improved system.
Finally, the HP Specter x360’s four-speaker system is tuned to deliver “studio-grade” sound.
But it’s the keyboard that steals the show

As a laptop reviewer, I’ve never experienced such clicky keys and responsive feedback.but what real What makes this laptop stand out is its bounce feature.
The moment my fingers hit the ground and hit the drive point, they were already flying to the next letter. As a keyboard snob, don’t believe me when I say that the HP Specter x360 14 has the best keyboard on the market.
I wasn’t kidding when I said I struggled to get my fingers off it.
