The Blink Mini 2 home security camera was announced just a month ago and is already on sale. In a deal on Amazon, the camera is available in both black and white at 25% off, bringing the already affordable system down to $30. The Blink Mini 2 can be used indoors or outdoors, offers HD footage day or night, and features an LED spotlight. It can be paired with one of Amazon’s smart displays for Alexa voice control. However, the camera is a plug-in device, so you need to place it somewhere with an outlet.

If you plan on leaving it outside, you’ll also want to pick up a weatherproof power adapter. A bundle containing the adapter is also on sale, which is $10 off the regular price of $50. Amazon-owned Blink released the Mini 2 camera in March, touting improvements in image quality and the option to provide high-definition color night scenes through its spotlight. The camera also features motion detection and two-way audio, so you can hear what’s going on and let the person on the other side hear you if you want.
With a Blink subscription, you can get even more features from Mini 2. If you already have a Blink video doorbell, the Mini 2 camera can work with that system and act as a bell when someone rings the doorbell. The box contains a camera, a mounting kit and bracket, a USB-C cable, and a power adapter for indoor use.
Buying the Mini 2 also comes with a 30-day free trial of the Blink subscription plan. If you plan to keep it after that, it will cost $3 per month per device. If you have a multi-camera setup, you also have the option of paying $10 per month to cover an unlimited number of devices.
