Are there any comparisons to Cassidy to Spike Seagal, or Gunslinger Ashe to gun-toting Faye Valentine? Mark this date: March 12th.That’s when Blizzard released From Battlefield 2 Cooperation with Legendary Animation cowboy bebop, which will bring five skins based on the show to the game. The trailer released for this collaboration also shows hacker Sombra dressed as her fellow hacker Ed, and tank hero Wrecking Ball/Hammond dressed as a data corgi Ein, Samoan warrior Mauga dressed as Jet Black.
Speaking of that trailer, it sure looks and feels like cowboy bebop The opening animation – even uses the same theme song. This collaboration is clearly meant to appeal to anime fans, although we wish it had happened sooner, such as during the show’s 25th anniversary last year.Blizzard does launch anime collaboration in 2023, but with Japanese superhero show one punch man.
Wrecking Ball’s Ein skin will be free to all players, but other skins will be available through Battlefield Special Attack 2 shop. The partnership will also get you new emotes, highlight intros, and other purchasable items. Blizzard will officially launch every skin and item on March 11th, maybe so you can at least have an idea of how much it will cost a day later.
