I had this weird experience – when I clicked on the WordPress recover password link, it redirected to /lost-password/ and returned a page not found error.

It took me a while to figure this out, but it turns out it was caused by Woocommerce. Apparently, Woocommerce is managing WordPress password recovery, but /lost-password/ is not set.
The reason is that my website does not use Woocommerce for password recovery.
solution?
Remove the missing password entry in the WooCommerce account endpoint page.
Proceed as follows:
- Hover over WooCcommerce and click settingsthen click advanced.

- Then, scroll down to Account endpoint section, delete the missing password in the Lost Password field and save the changes.

After making this change, when you click the “Lost Password?” password recovery link, it will redirect you to the correct password recovery page.

I hope you are able to resolve your issue by following the steps I used to resolve it!
