Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has expanded its partnership with The Co-operative Group Limited (Co-op), one of the world’s largest consumer cooperatives with businesses in food, funeral, insurance and legal services, and Adopting a cloud-first strategy will support the group’s business growth.
TCS has been a strategic partner of the Co-op for the past 14 years, supporting many critical business and workplace transformations. These include retail business transformation, core systems transformation and franchising initiatives. These initiatives have helped the Co-op accelerate time to market, create new revenue streams, and enhance its agility to respond immediately to emerging business scenarios.
The expanded partnership will enable TCS to help co-ops transition from a traditional data center model to a fully managed, scalable cloud environment powered by TCS Enterprise Cloud. This move to a scalable cloud will assist cooperatives and lay the foundation for future capabilities and growth, while reducing energy use and supporting sustainability goals. TCS will also manage hybrid cloud and SaaS assets to enhance resiliency and agility.
