Our coverage of CES is coming to an end, and we’ll be taking a deeper dive into the tech show and introducing our .
This year, instead of giving out category-specific awards, perhaps in categories that lack competition (or any good enough awards), we are announcing a set of winners in multiple categories. We still try to see as many products and devices as possible, whether it’s laptops, mobile devices and smart home devices, or automotive and accessibility innovations.
You should check out the full list of winners, but our Best of Show award goes to GE Profile’s Smart Indoor Smoker. I know: CES is more typically a TV show or an auto show, but sometimes it’s the niche products that win us over.
A smart indoor smoker is a countertop device that allows for proper grilling in your kitchen without filling your home with smoke. It moves air around the food to create maximum smoky flavor without allowing airflow to escape. When you cook brisket, chicken, or anything else, the filtration and catalyst system pulls the smoke down, eventually expelling it as hot air. It’s not small, but it’s stylish and easy to use, making the barrier to entry low for anyone who wants to try smoking on their own. The device can also produce an impressive smoky flavor in just a few hours.
Make sure you check all winners properly. The team expects more stories today and over the weekend, but for me, it’s time to leave Las Vegas. Until next year!

Check out LG’s high-tech camping trailer at CES 2024
LG’s hit song comes vacuum-packed in a trailer.
The LG Bon Voyage concept trailer takes many of LG’s hottest products from CES and retools and redesigns it for the camping of the near future, making it both incredibly comfortable and… unlikely. LG Labs’ mind-bending capsule coffee machine, the Duobo, looks like a lunar lander and sits inside a trailer with a microwave next to it. However, the refrigerator is accessed from the outside. On the other side of the door is a pull-out table with a built-in induction burner. There’s a giant OLED screen above the other pull-out surface, and a portable karaoke unit with two wireless microphones and a speaker in the back of the trailer. Oh, and there’s cocktail accoutrements on both sides. Do I have to repeat it? Glamping.

Now is a good time to buy a solar generator
CES 2024 showed how the technology can finally achieve this goal.
This year’s CES showed that the solar industry has surpassed its original limitations. The cost of solar panels and batteries has dropped significantly over the past few years, making them easier to sell.
The new EcoFlow Delta Pro Ultra is the company’s flagship whole-home backup product, pumping out 7,200 watts of power. The company claims the unit is strong enough to power a three-ton central air conditioning unit, one of the most demanding appliances in a home. Plus, because it’s modular, you can add up to three units to the same home, with a cumulative output of 21.6kW and, with enough battery, a total storage capacity of 90kWh.
Anker’s large battery unit Solix showed off its new F3800 portable power station, which can output 6,000W of peak power, enough to power electric vehicles.
