After quite a wait, Apple’s first mixed reality headset — its first new device since the Apple Watch — is almost here. Vision Pro launches on February 2nd, and to make sure it works as well in the demo as it does in real life, you’ll have to set aside the majority of your time to play with it.

according to BloombergMark Gurman of the company said that customers requesting a demo must first undergo a face scan and assemble a customized Vision Pro before completing a walkthrough of the interface, controls and device calibration. Apple Store employees will even scan the glasses to determine the Vision Pro’s lens prescription. All of this may take away interest and excitement about this headset, but at least you’ll get a great 25-minute demo.

If you’re going to buy the Vision Pro in-store and haven’t tried it, you maverick, you still need to get your face scanned. However, you can get the rest done on your own time when you get home.

It saves farmers from frequent checks on mothers.

It’s not what we expect from camera manufacturers, but if Canon can make an album of music to focus on, why can’t Nikon detect when a cow is about to give birth?

Its AI surveillance system, which consists of a security camera integrated with an AI system, costs 900,000 yen ($6,200) per year for a farm with about 100 cows. When the system detects that a calf is about to be born, it sends a ping to the farmer’s phone. Apparently, it can detect signs of pregnancy in cows about five hours before giving birth.

    Microsoft

It’s been almost a year since Microsoft launched Bing Chat (now simply called Copilot) powered by ChatGPT. So, of course it’s time to make some money! Just like OpenAI launched as ChatGPT’s popularity continues to grow, Microsoft is launching Copilot Pro, a $20 per month subscription that provides access to the latest ChatGPT version, as well as Copilot and other new features in Microsoft 365 apps Function.

For advanced users, though, Copilot GPT may be more interesting, a new feature that lets you tailor your AI chatbot around specific topics, including fitness and cooking. Professional users can eventually create their own Copilot GPTs.
