Ubisoft just released another trailer Star Wars Desperados, this time the focus is on storytelling. The new trailer highlights the various smugglers and thieves you’ll be working alongside in a galaxy far, far away. The game also benefits from developer Massive Entertainment’s proprietary Snowdrop engine.
It looks fun too. You play as a villain named Kevis, who attempts to win her freedom by completing various jobs for the denizens of the underworld. The trailer shows off Jabba the Hutt, Han Solo frozen in carbonite, and various other blink-and-you’ll-miss-it Easter eggs.
Even better than the new trailer? The actual release date is August 30th, which is just a few months away. The release date was originally leaked via a Japanese trailer and spotted by Insider Gaming, but has now been officially confirmed.
Star Wars Desperados It will be released on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Amazon Luna and PC, and is available for pre-order now. The base version of the game costs $70, but special editions are available for an additional fee. These premium packs include cosmetic DLC, art packs, and exclusive missions.
An August release date means fans can play the game straight after completing it on Disney+. Let’s hear the sounds of the shared universe!
