Data and artificial intelligence (AI) specialist SAS has expanded its SAS Managed hosting services to Amazon Web Services (AWS).

As a strategic addition to the SAS Managed Services portfolio, this expansion provides customers with more options to deploy and manage their investments in industry-leading SAS technologies and solutions.

SAS customers continue to benefit from the advantages of SAS Viya as a cloud competitive and cloud portal platform.

Now, not only can they choose a cloud provider, they can choose from SAS’ catalog of cutting-edge products and solutions deployed as managed hosting services, including SAS Viya on AWS.

With SAS installing, setting up, securing, operating and maintaining its platforms and solutions in cloud environments, customers benefit from SAS expertise from start to finish.

“We designed SAS Managed Services to provide customers with the best of SAS: our software, services, support and expertise,” said Jay Upchurch, SAS executive vice president and chief information officer.

“The growth we’ve seen over the past few years is a testament to how effective it is, and we’re excited to bring the full SAS hosting experience to our AWS customers. This means we enable more customers to manage their workloads in the way that works best for them.” Get the best from SAS in the cloud of your choice.

SAS Managed Services shorten the distance between data and value by delivering maximum uptime with minimal management overhead.

Customers also see other benefits, such as reduced costs, elimination of technical debt, and increased speed and security, so they can focus on what matters: innovation and real results.

“Extending SAS managed hosting services to AWS is a smart move that will get more customers using SAS, giving those customers more choices in how they choose to operate within their organizations,” said Steve White, vice president of access projects. Harness data and artificial intelligence.

“This shows that SAS is serious about its strategy and meeting the needs of its customers.” SAS simplifies the modernization process from SAS 9 to SAS Viya for customers who already use AWS or are looking for the right cloud provider to meet their needs.

With the complete SAS product suite available on AWS, it’s easier than ever for customers to leverage the strengths of both partners to realize business benefits.
