Samsung has officially announced Winter Unpacked – taking place right on the heels of CES, just down the street from the headquarters of some of its biggest competitors.as before leakage The event is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, January 17, it was announced. The game will be held at the SAP Center because nothing embodies the “go big or go home” philosophy like an NHL arena.
The company says we’ll see the “latest addition to the Galaxy mobile device portfolio,” which will almost certainly be the S24 series. Artificial intelligence will be the main focus – no surprise there. Rumors also point to a new titanium material for the S24 Ultra – which you’ll be reminded of if you’ve seen any ads for the iPhone 15 Pro – and the 3D metal graphics in the event invitation seem to be leaning that way as well. It’s probably no coincidence that the event is being held in Apple’s backyard, either!
As usual, Samsung has opened pre-orders for its devices, and you’ll get a $50 credit if you pre-order one of the phones. There’s no promise to follow through and actually buy one, so watch Samsung’s livestream on the 17th at 10am PT / 1pm ET where the device will be revealed. Then you can make a more informed decision.
