Qantas is launching a one-stop travel management solution for small and medium-sized businesses to help them book travel and manage expenses.
The new platform was developed with direct feedback from Qantas Business Rewards members, who said the program would be more valuable if it helped them book and manage corporate travel.
It includes an integrated booking tool that allows businesses to book flights, hotels and car rentals. Companies can also manage the entire trip from flights to accommodation, rather than booking on multiple platforms.
Users can also set business travel policies and have them automatically applied to bookings. This means employees can book travel more efficiently, while travel managers can provide critical oversight of bookings.
To give companies more visibility, Qantas provides them with instant access to data and analytics so they can identify trends, manage travel costs and produce remittable expense reports.

Businesses can also use the platform to more easily manage their Qantas Business Rewards benefits, including flight discounts and Qantas Points, and gain access to exclusive offers from the program’s partners.
“Our investment in Qantas Business Rewards will provide Australian businesses with a one-stop platform to manage their business travel needs and make the most of their rewards,” Qantas Loyalty chief executive Olivia Wirth said.
She added: “One in five Australian SMEs are Qantas Business Rewards members and this new booking experience adds to the benefits they already enjoy, including discounts on flights and earning Qantas money on travel and everyday business spend. integral.”
The airline trialled the program in August, and early users were impressed.
“Being able to book and manage all aspects of travel in one place is a game changer,” said Rehan D’Almeida, general manager of Australian Fintech, a Qantas Business Rewards member. [the] Small team. “

“Being able to track and manage travel-related expenses and bookings allows us to focus on maximizing the impact of travel and strengthening relationships with various fintech ecosystems around the world,” he added.
Businesses will continue to earn Qantas Points on travel spend, including flights, fuel, car hire, international payments, credit cards and utility bills. Dalmeida said the new platform makes it easier to “use points… to fund future travel.”
“While more meetings are moving to video conferencing, travel remains critical to Australian fintech, perhaps even more so than before the pandemic,” he noted.
To mark the launch of the new platform, Qantas is waiving the A$89.50 (US$59.00) fee to join Qantas Business Rewards until 8 December.
