Osaka, Japan – Panasonic Entertainment Communications Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that KAIROS, the IT/IP platform that supports live production for broadcasters, is being delivered to customers worldwide in collaboration with KAIROS Alliance partners.
KAIROS open architecture features easy connection with external devices and third-party systems. To this end, Panasonic has been working with manufacturers and suppliers in the IT and video industries to expand and integrate KAIROS’ systems and respond to the latest technologies to support video production for customers in the broadcast and video industries.
For example, a Broadcast Control System (BCS) will be able to facilitate automation of operations and help improve the efficiency of the overall system and ultimately the efficiency of broadcast operations. KAIROS cooperates with leading BCS suppliers and their systems, MAGNUM-OS by Evertz, Cerebrum by EVS and VSM broadcast control systems by LAWO, and has been delivered to a total of 7 projects worldwide (Japan: 1 broadcaster, Europe: 3 Broadcasting company, United States: 1) sports management company, 1 event company, 1 financial company).
In addition, by 2024, more than 50 manufacturers and suppliers will become KAIROS Alliance partners, collaborating in all aspects of the production ecosystem.
