Tokyo, Japan – Panasonic Connectivity Co., Ltd. announced today that its recently released Kairos Core 200 host (AT-KC200) will release system software upgrade version 1.5.0 on July 21. The host is used in conjunction with the KAIROS IT/IP platform for professional live video production and distribution.In particular, the V1.5.0 upgrade will enhance intuitive KAIROS operation by supporting new touch control panel software (AT-SPTC10)1 option, which will go on sale June 30 for use with the Kairos Core 200 console. The upgrade also adds expanded functionality including 4 outputs and 4K/HD simultaneous outputs for multiviewer, multiple selection of clips, sources and objects in Kairos Creator, capture as clips or stills on RAM player Image input/output video, etc. Flexible video production in different operating and shooting environments.
The AT-SFTC10 software will support intuitive operations on the Multiviewer screen on a touch screen PC, including video selection, camera switching, clip playback, etc., making it easy for anyone (even non-professional operators) to use KAIROS. It also allows operating KAIROS on a PC without Kairos Creator installed. AT-SFTC10 will provide a software key that can be activated by entering a code.
AT-KC200 is the second generation host in the KAIROS mid-range product line. It has significant improvements in video processing performance, internal storage capacity, reliability and stability. It is fully compatible with multi-screen touch operation and other V1.5.0 functions, enabling highly flexible video production.
