Tonight, some of Hollywood’s biggest stars will gather at the Dolby Theater for the 96th annual Academy Awards. It’s a sign that things are starting to get back to normal following last year’s months-long writers’ and actors’ strike.

When does the Oscars ceremony start?
The Oscars will kick off on Sunday, March 10, 2024, airing from 7 PM ET/4 PM PT to 10 PM ET/7 PM PT.

If you have cable or satellite TV, you can watch the Oscars on your local ABC station. You can also watch the Oscars from the ABC website or app by logging into your TV provider.

Who hosts the Oscars?
Jimmy Kimmel will host this year’s Oscars for the second year in a row. This is his fourth time as host, having presided over the ceremony in 2017 and 2018.
