Amazon $44
While the price hasn’t reached its previous all-time low of $39, it’s still a good deal. The peripheral typically retails for $60.
The latest version of the controller is designed specifically for Xbox fans, retaining the layout Xbox fans have become accustomed to over the past two decades. The face buttons and triggers are responsive and the joystick is smooth. While it lacks the adaptive triggers and immersive haptics, the Xbox controller’s D-pad is clickier than the D-pad on the DualSense.
The peripheral also pairs easily with Windows PCs, phones, and tablets via Bluetooth, and a dedicated share button for capturing screenshots and game clips is also handy. One thing worth remembering is that the Xbox controller runs on AA batteries. So unless you want to replace your batteries regularly, it might be worth buying a set or a single battery.
