There are reports that Nintendo will not release the long-awaited successor to the Switch. Therefore, the company needs to let fans know what games they will be able to play on current consoles in the coming months. To help stretch out the timeline, Nintendo has scheduled a series of indie game releases. We’ll learn about some of this at the next Indie World showcase on April 17th at 10am ET.
Nintendo said the livestream will last about 20 minutes and will include updates on games coming to Switch this year. There’s not much indication yet of what will happen. However, ultimately it may be, at last become news Hollow Knight: Silk Song front.
I know, I know, we mention this game every time these streams come out (and for good reason, as it’s one of the most anticipated games out there). That said, there are some signs that we’ll be receiving an update for a Team Cherry sequel soon. This month, its page finally appeared on the Microsoft Store, and it is. So if the Indie World stream doesn’t include silk song Release date, maybe we’ll finally find out what it is at the Xbox Showcase in June. Keep your fingers crossed.
