Neste has launched Neste Impact, a new emissions reduction solution aimed at businesses looking to reduce the carbon footprint of air travel and transport activities.
The solution is based on the purchase of Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel™, which reduces greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) by up to 80% over the life of the fuel compared to using fossil jet fuel.
Neste Impact enables businesses to translate their climate goals into measurable actions to reduce aviation-related emissions.
Neste assists companies in translating their climate goals into concrete, measurable goals to reduce emissions from corporate air travel and transportation. Emission reduction targets can be achieved by purchasing corresponding quantities of SAF from Neste to replace fossil aviation fuel.
Neste ensures that SAF is supplied to partner airlines and purchased in quantities that can be verified to replace fossil fuels. By using SAF, companies receive third-party verified reports, allowing them to reliably report on the emissions reductions achieved towards their sustainability goals.

Neste Impact is aligned with the Science-Based Targets Initiative Aviation Guidelines (SBTi), the gold standard for climate reporting. It follows a book and claim approach, but unlike many other book and claims solutions, Neste ensures SAF is delivered to SBTi Aviation Guidance standards and is designed specifically for the aviation sector to replace fossil jet fuel.
