Melita Business has launched a new cyber security solution tailored for businesses of all sizes, integrating two leading platforms: Google Chronicle Security Operations and SentinelOne. These platforms leverage the scale and speed of Google Cloud, combining it with state-of-the-art artificial intelligence technology to detect and defend against cybersecurity threats. At this week’s Cyber Security Conference at Melita’s Data Center, attendees learned how Melita successfully deployed Chronicle Security Operations itself to further enhance its cyber security resiliency.

Chronicle Security Operations is an Intel-led platform that combines the capabilities of SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) and SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation and Response) and is powered by genAI. For customers who choose the new Melita Business network security solution, various data analysis and system information collected by SentinelOne will be continuously aggregated and evaluated in the Chronicle Security Operations platform. If a threat is detected, customers and their system integrators are immediately alerted. This advanced solution is delivered in partnership with AmagisTech, Google Cloud’s reference partner in Malta.

Businesses from SMB to above can easily integrate the solution as easily as installing the app on the end-user device. This eliminates complexity and can be implemented through an enterprise’s existing IT vendors. There are currently various government and EU schemes that can help businesses fund investment in such cyber security solutions.

Malcom Briffa, chief executive of business and IoT at Melita Limited, said: “With the support of AmagisTech, Melita Business is providing its customers with a very powerful cloud-native solution to enhance the level of their security operations team. In addition to helping to protect the business, employees and In addition to customer security, these new tools will help comply with new regulations, including the EU’s Digital Operations Resilience Act (DORA) and the Markets in Crypto-Assets Act (MICA).
