Infobip helps drive the messaging ecosystem and expand the reach of rich business messaging
Juniper Networks technology analysts say RBM usage will grow from just under 1 billion users in 2023 to more than 2 billion in 2028. In addition, Juniper Networks expects RBM traffic to grow 350% over the next five years. In view of this growth, Infobip launched the RCS Business Messaging Solution to enable MNOs to provide RCS business messaging to enterprise customers on their networks, while providing MNO traffic control and analysis. By launching innovative solutions, Infobip is driving the growth of the entire messaging ecosystem and expanding the scope of rich business messaging.
Advantages of Infobip’s RCS telecom business messaging solution include:
-
Branded and verified sender: Keep messages secure and consistent with logo, name and colors
-
A great first impression: full RCS functionality including images, videos, files and rich card carousels
-
Clickable buttons for easy replying: Includes a range of customizable actions and reply buttons to increase message engagement rates
-
Messaging performance metrics: Track messaging and customer engagement with detailed campaign metrics such as delivered, viewed, and clicked
Infobip enables telcos and enterprises to benefit from RCS Business Messaging through its Messaging Platform (MaaP) service. Infobip’s MaaP solution sits on top of the Google Jibe RCS platform and provides RBM agent lifecycle management. MaaP offers messaging benefits including throughput control, content and spam control, while Infobip’s broader CPaaS offering enables connectivity with other mobile network operators (MNOs). Operational benefits include detailed billing and reporting, faster brand and partner approvals, additional user controls and managed service options.
Matija Ražem, Vice President of Business Development at Infobip, said: “Following Apple’s plan to support RCS on its operating system and the expected growth of RCS business messaging users and traffic over the next five years, 2024 is an important change for RBM. When 85% of While mobile network operators have yet to adopt RBM, we see this as an important opportunity to help MNOs and enterprises seize the benefits of RCS business messaging and provide rich conversational messaging to their customers. Through our RCS Business Messaging and MaaP solutions, we can help MNOs launch RCS Business Messaging and enable them to achieve profitability faster by becoming RCS’s technology and business support partner.”
