The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced new assessment criteria for CA Final Paper 6. CA Final Paper 6: Integrated Business Solutions will now be an open book and case study based on the new education and training program.
However, the exam time is still 4 hours, and the paper assessment method is also 40% MCQs and 60% descriptive questions, with each case study worth 25 marks.
“Students may note that the assessment of Final Paper 6: Integrated Business Solutions under New Education and Training Program will be based on open book and case studies,” ICAI said in an official statement.

“The Board has decided that the examination time for the paper will continue to be four hours and the paper will also be assessed in the form of 40% MCQs and 60% descriptive questions for 25 marks per case study.”
Therefore, there will be five case studies of 25 marks each and students will be asked to attempt any four of them, it added.
