Saving emails as PDFs is one way to keep a copy. In this guide, I will cover the steps to save emails as PDF in Windows Outlook and Android Gmail app.
Option 1: Save Outlook emails as PDF on Windows
- Highlight and select the email you want to save in Outlook. If the image doesn’t appear, right-click an image on the email and select Download pictures.
By default, Outlook does not download images. To ensure that the image is saved when saving an email to PDF, you must download the image before continuing.
- Next, right-click on the email and select Quick printing.
- Finally, select the folder where the PDF will be stored, name the file, and click save.
Option 2: Save Gmail emails as PDF on Android
- Open the Gmail app on your Android phone and open the email you want to save. Then, in the upper right corner of the email, click on the 3 vertical dots in the upper right corner and then click print.
- There are another 3 dots in the upper right corner of the print screen. Click this option and select “Print to PDF”.
- Finally, make a note of where the PDF will be saved on your phone or choose a different location, give the file a new name, and click save.
in conclusion
You may wish to save the email as a PDF to keep a copy or send the email as a PDF attachment. No matter why you want to do this, I hope my guide is helpful.
