The 2024 Critics’ Choice Awards will take place this Sunday, following last week’s Golden Globes. Unfortunately for the nominees, this means the contests are too close together for anyone to wear the same outfit and get away with it.
This year’s ceremony, hosted by comedian Chelsea Handler for the second consecutive year, took place at the Barker Hanger at the Santa Monica Airport in California. Although the original plan was to hold the Critics’ Choice Awards at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel, the ceremony was rescheduled in December due to an ongoing strike by hotel workers. Hollywood actors and writers may not be too keen on crossing the picket lines, especially considering they themselves spent much of the last year on strike.
