CMC Networks has launched Air Connect, a wireless solution that provides connectivity to businesses across South Africa. The company describes Air Connect as a wireless for the enterprise (WTTB) solution that provides reliable, high-speed connectivity and business continuity even in the most challenging terrains.

Reliable wireless connection
Air Connect uses radio waves to ensure connectivity across diverse landscapes, including rural farmland, sparse deserts and rugged terrain. According to CMC, Air Connect can be installed very quickly, with service level objectives (SLOs) of three to 10 days, making it ideal for businesses waiting for fiber deployment. Additionally, it can serve as an active backup in Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) overlay deployments, further enhancing network resiliency and uptime.
The company emphasizes Air Connect’s scalability and adaptability to unique business needs, providing fast installation, high-speed connectivity and higher network reliability.

Pan-African network coverage
