CARTER BLUE Small Business Solutions will be hosting several organizational and development events throughout October, and joining us now is FELICIA CARTER BLUE, owner and founder of CARTER BLUE Small Business Solutions. Thank you so much for being with us. Thank you for inviting me. You are very welcome. So, FELICIA, first of all, please share what types of services your business provides us? Yes. SO CARTER BLUE, Small Business Solutions. We are a small business consulting firm. We are a one-stop shop. I like to call it a mecca for small businesses. We offer everything from business formation, not just business formation, proper business formation, Rowan bookkeeping, payroll services, marketing, PR services and even health insurance. We provide virtually everything a business needs to get started maintaining and staying in business. I’m sure this can help someone who might be overwhelmed by the process. Think of it in a more manageable way. Can you talk a little more about the organization and Thrive Business teams you have and their purpose? Yes. So Organize and Prosper is a four-day business event. This is a very unique approach to business seminars. We focus on some of the most common business topics, yet they are the least talked about in business. So we wanted to bring in an expert panelist to discuss topics like the right business composition, mental health, and balancing business and personal life. The value of bookkeeping. Last but not least, if you have no credit, keep your credit or even build your credit, credit and how credit can help you in your business. So they’re called everything organized and flourishing, right? Do you think the names of these events really help cover the different topics that you hope businesses can get away with? Yes, that’s right. So I touch on these topics because they are some of the key elements of running a business. I want these business owners to master these key elements so they can thrive. Many times, business owners don’t know what to expect and therefore fail to prepare. So in order to prepare them, I have to introduce them to, or I feel like we should introduce to them, some of the most important aspects of the business that I’ve seen. Usually not mentioned. So who do you think will benefit the most from this business group and these events? It sounds like a lot of the content is aimed at people just starting out, but can you talk a little bit about who your target audience is? Yes, that’s right. Certainly, like you said, it’s a great starting point for aspiring business owners, people who haven’t actually started yet, to get them the information they need. So many times people search for information on the Internet. They watch videos, they read books. But there were more details, core information that they didn’t get. You know, they don’t have access. Then, there are business owners currently operating who are dealing with current challenges and dilemmas. They’re not quite sure why. So this is a great opportunity for them to make that happen. Ah ha, okay, that’s what I missed. This is where I need to start over. One thing I didn’t mention is that we also provide information, so I work with a lot of businesses that are already operating, but they face a lot of challenges. They don’t know why. Then we go back to the drawing board and reform them so they can be successful. Astonishing. I’m glad you’re able to provide these types of resources to these businesses. I know you are all hosting these events this month. Should all of these business owners participate? Just one of them. How does this work? Yeah, so I definitely encourage business owners to attend all events, although they’re not forced to attend all events. I do that because as you just said, there are people who are at different stages of the business and there are people who have done something and done it well. There. But in general, I think everyone should attend every meeting so that they can get information, maybe not from me, but maybe from other business owners. They can connect with other business owners and learn and maybe even offer something. Yes, this is a great networking opportunity. People need to register, will they just show up? What do they need to know ahead of time? Yes. So they need to register. They can go to Eventbrite and search, organize and grow, and they can go to my website. The company hosts several Organize and Thrive events in October that are open to all business owners, but especially helpful to new or aspiring entrepreneurs. In-person and virtual events are held on October 3, 10, 17 and 24. The four-day event will cover basics such as proper business formation, bookkeeping and personal finance.
