Zendesk Sell is Zendesk’s leading CRM platform, which also offers a separate help desk platform that you can integrate with your CRM. With Zendesk for Service, you can manage support tickets, create chatbots, create a help center for customers to use, communicate with customers through social media, and more. I really like this feature because it streamlines communication channels and consolidates customer interactions, making it easier to provide efficient and personalized support.
Essenvia CEO Soumya Mahapatra shared his experience using Zendesk Sell: “We have been using Zendesk Sell for many years for our CRM work, in part because Zendesks’ other services are a core part of our business. We use them for our help center, Analytics and chat, along with a few other features we’re experimenting with. The prospect of having less software licenses to manage was one of the big reasons we chose Zendesk for CRM, and we’re definitely not disappointed though there are more features out there in that particular area. dedicated CRM platform, but Zendesk is so flexible that we would have a hard time resisting it.
When testing Zendesk Sell, I focused on its ability to customize up to 20 sales pipelines. This feature allowed me to try out different configurations to see how the tool would fit into different sales processes. Setting up each pipeline to mimic a different segment of a typical market allowed me to gain insight into how this might streamline the operations of a sales team. The API in its basic plan is also a boon.
General characteristics
Sell Team is Zedesk Sell’s cheapest plan and offers APIs, pre-built dashboards, call tracking and recording, SMS, email and calendar integration, and up to two customizable sales pipelines.
Another aspect I explored in depth was integration with email and calendaring. During the trial, I could see how it reduced schedule conflicts and streamlined communication. Automatic updates are an important feature for maintaining orders and ensuring customer interactions are not overlooked.
Call tracking and recording features are comprehensive. I tested how it recorded interactions and noticed how easily people could replay and analyze calls. This feature shows how useful it is for teams that need detailed records of customer interactions for compliance or quality assurance purposes.
Add-ons and additional features
While Zendesk Sell doesn’t have a free plan, its trial version lets you test each plan level, including the highest level with task automation, prospecting, sales forecasting, goal tracking, and deal scoring. It’s unusual for a CRM to lock its deal scoring behind its most expensive plan – some offer lead scoring for free.
Additional services include the Premier plan, which offers a one-hour response time guarantee, customized monitoring, 24/7 support and a dedicated support team. Technical Account Managers can be added to help customize your technical projects and help each Zendesk service work together. Professional services are also available as add-on services. These allow you to manually configure CRM, consulting, data migration, custom applications, etc.
Price
Zendesk Sell plans start at $19 per month per agent (paid annually) and $25 per month. For its Sell Professional plan, you’ll pay $149 per agent per month if you pay monthly, or $115 per agent per month if you pay annually. It also offers enterprise plans starting at $169 per user per month for an annual subscription.
Service and Support
Zendesk Sell’s multi-language support enhances global usability. It provides digital support through its help center and community forums, providing instant answers and troubleshooting assistance.
For newcomers, CRM includes on-demand training and guided learning paths to help quickly master its features. For businesses that require more in-depth support, Zendesk Sell offers additional services such as advanced planning, technical account managers, and professional services. These add-ons are designed for users who require advanced help with customization or integration and will incur additional costs. This setup allows businesses to scale support based on their specific requirements and complexity.
