Apple just released a trailer for another never-ending sci-fi drama. dark matter Starring Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly. It also happens to be based on a fantastic book by author Blake Crouch, which we recommended upon its release in 2021. The show premiered on May 8 with two episodes.
I’ve read the book and loved it, but there won’t be any real spoilers here. dark matter The story of a physicist who gets involved in some serious sci-fi shenanigans. The trailer revealed a bit of the plot, enough to give us an idea that these particular sci-fi shenanigans are multiversal. Again, the book is an exciting page-turner, so the show should follow suit. The rest of the cast includes Jimmi Simpson, Alice Braga, Dayo Okeniyi and Oakes Fegley.
Crouch is actually the showrunner here, a first for the author. However, this isn’t the first TV show to be adapted from his book. wayward pine tree Based on a series of novels, it aired on Fox for two seasons. good behavior, also based on the 2016 book series that aired on TNT.
