Nigerian telecommunications company Globacom has launched a strategic business solution that enables companies and enterprises to outsource some non-core operations and focus on their core competencies.
The service is designed to help businesses improve efficiency, reduce costs and enhance customer experience.
Just a month ago, Glo shut down its network in Ghana and laid off about 79 employees under very suspicious circumstances.
Glo Outsource Pro enables companies to delegate specific operational activities (such as customer support, finance and accounting, IT services, human resources and supply chain management) to Globacom, which leverages its expertise, technology and economies of scale to optimize processes and deliver high-quality Quality service. – Globacom explained in a statement that high-quality results will have a positive impact on their operations.
The product is designed to “help companies maximize cost-effectiveness, increase productivity and increase market efficiency by helping them manage some non-core parts of their business so that they can focus on core activities.”
In addition to improving efficiency and reducing costs, Glo Outsource Pro can promote technology upgrades, competitive advantage and increase market efficiency.
With Glo Outsource Pro, organizations can outsource their inbound and outbound call center activities, inbound technical help desk, social media management, data mining for planning purposes, and general back-office support. “It will also assist them in areas such as remote prospecting, customer campaigns/onboarding, retention campaigns, collections, sales campaigns, etc.,” Globacom said.
It pointed out that the product is mainly suitable for large and medium-sized enterprise businesses such as banking, energy, oil and gas, fast moving consumer goods, manufacturing, distribution, utilities, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), logistics companies, small, medium and micro enterprises.
The new business management proposition “positions Glo as the ultimate value and innovative solution provider for businesses of all categories. It will unlock the full potential of contracted businesses, driving cost savings, operational excellence and unparalleled customer experience,” the statement added.
