Control Print Italy Srl, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Control Print Limited, India’s premier integrated encoding and marking solutions provider, announced the acquisition of the business assets of V Shapes Srl of Italy for approximately €3.7 million.
With this acquisition, Control Print Limited has achieved a number of objectives, from achieving high IP related diversification in the packaging business to providing sustainable packaging solutions, especially in the key area of single dose/single serving packaging , to provide internationally diversified services to global customers. V-Shapes has developed significant intellectual property in the single-serve packaging space and has broad applicability in the premium and luxury segments, including pharmaceuticals, nutritionals, cosmetics and food. Control Print Limited will retain the entire existing V-shaped team and maintain the manufacturing, design and development of packaging technology in Italy.

Control Print’s past acquisitions include an 80% stake in Markprint BV of the Netherlands, which manufactures inline digital printing solutions through its Dutch holding company Control Print BV. The company also announced the acquisition of a majority stake in UK-based supplier Codeology Group Ltd of printing and application systems. Additionally, the company launched QRiousCodes, an innovative QR code-based tracking solution. Control Print manufactures non-contact and contact coding and marking machines based on continuous inkjet, thermal inkjet, thermal transfer and laser printing technologies. A pioneer in coding and marking solutions, the brand serves various industries including food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, FMCG, personal care, pipes and plastics, wires and cables, steel and metals, cement, and plywood, among others.
