Software company N-able has launched N-able Cloud Commander, a multi-tenant solution for the Microsoft cloud.
Cloud Commander’s vision is to enable managed service providers (MSPs) to manage, secure, standardize and automate Microsoft 365 users, Azure resources and Intune devices from a single console, and has announced plans to add Windows 365 management capabilities.
In the hybrid world we live in, enterprises need to scale their cloud operations to meet emerging business needs, such as market expansion and productivity improvements. The Microsoft cloud continues to grow rapidly and remains a critical element for businesses around the world. Cloud Commander is designed to simplify Microsoft cloud management for MSPS, allowing them to:
- Improve the efficiency of multiple Microsoft 365, Intune and Azure resource tenants through a single pane of glass, allowing MSPs to stop managing multiple logins and portals so they can quickly respond to customer requests. Cloud Commander also gives MSPs the ability to set least privilege access for their teams, allowing them to help keep employees and customers safe.
- Streamline help desk operations by optimizing user onboarding/exiting and tasks such as password changes, MFA resets, group/role management, and authorization changes. Quickly and easily configure Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive for Business and SharePoint Online settings for users. Control all your devices with faster actions like reboot, remote lock, wipe, and reassign all devices from one dashboard.
- Monitor the Microsoft Security Score report for all users, or drill down into each tenant’s security score to develop action plans to reduce risk posture and monitor high-risk users within your tenant and remediate issues. Standardize how Intune compliance policies are deployed to help check security settings, such as enforcing BitLocker encryption, Secure Boot, and Defender, to stay compliant and alert when they deviate. Additionally, subscription management enables MSPs to manage their customers’ budgets effectively and efficiently.
With single pane of glass visibility, MSPs can improve their Microsoft cloud efficiency and streamline operations for SME (small and medium-sized enterprise) customers while unlocking potential growth opportunities, including increased revenue.
Designed and implemented in line with N-able’s Ecoverse vision, this unique combination of capabilities provides value for:
- IT technician – Simplify the management of Microsoft cloud environments and save technicians’ time through quick access to virtual machines, devices, users, and automation of common workflows.
- IT business manager – Simplify and automate operations to help improve efficiency and reduce overhead, allowing them to manage and scale their Microsoft business more effectively.
