Spring temperatures are melting Amazon prices. The retail giant is hosting a new seasonal sale this week called (very aptly) the Spring Sale, and it’s not just another iteration of its flagship Prime Day sale.
Here’s everything you should know about the big spring sales ahead of time, including which early deals are worth your money.
What is the Amazon Spring Sale?
According to a post on Amazon’s blog, the Spring Sale is a brand new event with promotions centered around “seasonally related items” and “warm weather essentials.” These include a selection of sports and outdoor equipment, cleaning and organization products, and certain electronics. (Amazon devices like the Kindle and Echo smart speakers may get some of the biggest discounts.)
How to cancel your Amazon Prime membership
Unlike Prime Day, Amazon’s biggest sale of the year, the Spring Sale offers won’t be exclusively limited to members of its paid Prime subscription service. However, its announcement states that members “will receive exciting and exclusive offers” as part of the sale. We don’t know what these are, but it probably doesn’t hurt to jump-start a free Prime trial (if you haven’t already), as long as you get free two-day shipping on anything you end up buying.
When is the Amazon Spring Sale?
