Lego has certainly done that enough of batman set In its time. But how do you capture the unique beauty of one of the most iconic adaptations of the character, Legend? Batman: The Animated Series– Brick form? This isn’t the traditional gaming bundle some might have hoped for, but this new version might just be the best you can get.

The set draws on the company’s range of buildable artwork, which is closer to a buildable 3D painting than a traditional LEGO set, depicting Gotham’s Art Deco-inspired skyline and several key locations from the show, such as Gotham City Courthouse, Arkham Asylum, Joker’s Playland and more, plus Easter eggs like a mini-buildable Batmobile and Batwing, and of course, the night sky lights up with the legendary Bat-Signal.
It’s a very nice set and embodies the aesthetic uniqueness of its source material in an interesting way, but… you can’t really do LEGO Batman: The Animated Series At least not a few minifigures, okay? Thankfully, the Gotham City set will include a proper little gargoyle roof to house four minifigures: Batman, Catwoman, the Joker, and Harley Quinn, all inspired by their appearances on the show.
