New Delhi: Technology company Zoho Corporation on Tuesday announced the launch of ‘Zakya’, a modern point-of-sale (POS) solution for Indian retail stores to streamline their day-to-day operations.
Zakya provides businesses with an end-to-end POS setup, including a POS billing app (available for Windows, iOS, and Android).
Zakya’s standard plan starts at Rs 649 per month and is billed annually. The product also offers a 15-day free trial.
In addition to English, Zakya supports 10 languages: Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Malayalam, Kannada, Punjabi, Bengali, Marathi and Gujarati.
Jayagopal Theranikal, chief evangelist at Zakya, said: “As consumers shift to online shopping, there is increasing demand for digital solutions from retailers who want to stay competitive.”
He added that Zakya offers an easy-to-use solution that can be quickly deployed, lowering barriers to technology adoption for small businesses.
The native app also allows stores to bill even when used offline. Zakya also enables businesses to launch a customized mobile app that allows customers to browse and shop on their smartphones and have items delivered to their homes, the company said.
Third-party integrations: Zakya is pre-integrated with payment partners including Pine Labs, Razorpay, and PhonePe.
